Smart Rewriting

TypeBuddy's smart rewriting feature uses AI to transform your text according to different styles and rules in real-time with on-device AI, helping you adapt your writing for various audiences, tones, and purposes while maintaining your original meaning.

How to Get Started

1. Place your cursor in a text field
2. Press ⌘ + Shift + , to activate smart rewriting
3. TypeBuddy will rewrite the text using the selected style as you type
4. Press ⌘ + ↵ to apply the smart rewrite or Esc to cancel

How to Use

Change Rewrite Style:

• Click the list icon to open the style menu
• Choose from available rewrite rules.

Customizing rewrite rules is coming soon.

Apply Rewrite:

• Use ⌘ + ↵ to replace your original text with the rewritten version
• Or copy the rewritten text manually
