Spelling & Grammar Check
TypeBuddy's advanced grammar and spelling checker uses on-device AI to analyze your text and provide intelligent corrections, helping you write with confidence and clarity across all applications.
How to Get Started
- Select some text or place your cursor in any text field
- Press
⌘ + ;to start grammar checking - TypeBuddy will analyze your text and show any issues found
- Review and apply corrections individually or all at once
Default Keyboard Shortcuts

How to Use
When grammar check is active, you'll see:
- A list of suggested corrections with context
- Each correction shows the original text and suggested replacement
- ✓ button to accept a correction
- ✗ button to ignore a correction
⌘ + ↵to apply all corrections at once
Tips:
- Click on any correction to highlight it in your original text
- TypeBuddy automatically selects the current paragraph if no text is selected
